2. What about refrigerated air dryers for compressed air systems?

I'm not a compressed air specialist, so I can't speak to every dryer brand. I can't recommend one brand over another – that gets into competitive territory. What I can tell you: Johnson Controls' advantage is system-level integration. If you're starting from scratch, evaluate based on total cost of ownership including service availability in your region. Johnson Controls has strong service coverage in major metro areas, but less so in rural zones. In those cases, a local Trane or Carrier dealer might offer faster response times.

The question everyone asks is “which brand is best?” The question they should ask is “which brand's service network is closest to my facility?” That answer will save you more downtime than any efficiency number on a spec sheet.
